Ground-Up Engineering, Inc. was formed in 2005 to respond to business owners, home
owners, municipalities, educational, and manufacturing facilities
in Vermont seeking affordable professional structural engineering
services.
In 2007, Ground-up Engineering, Inc. listened to its customers
and responded by creating a process engineering department. We are
now able to provide manufacturing a resource for optimizing, expanding,
implementing and managing their processing ideas/visions, into reality.
Ground-Up Engineering recognizes a successful
project requires more than developing a set of plans and
handing them off for another firm to build. Using our background
in construction, project management, and engineering we work closely with the
entire project team to see a project through, from concept to completion.

The principal engineer of the firm has sixteen
years of experience in the design, development and construction of
structural systems across the United States and Canada. The
principal engineer has performed services for architects, engineers,
industrial and commercial firms, owners, contractors and other
agencies representing both the public and private sectors of the
economy. Long term relationships were formed with the above
clientele resulting in 75 – 80% of performed work being
repeat business.
The Process Department is lead by an engineer
with nineteen years of experience in process design, optimization,
innovation, implementation, project management, capital budget creation
and management and bringing customers visions to reality, throughout the US.
Industries served includes petro/chem, dry food, automotive, frozen food,
flexible circuit manufacturing, dairy processing, refrigeration, power
utilities, environmental controls.
